Havnø Mølle - always worth a visit...
Havnø Mølle is a thatched Dutch windmill from 1842, located in very scenic surroundings between fjord and forest.
Beautifully located on a ridge between Mariager Fjord and the forest Lounkær, Havnø Mølle is a significant landmark and a very popular tourist attraction.
From the mill hill there is a beautiful view of Mariager Fjord and the nearby fjord meadows.
The mill is build in connection with the manor "Havnø" and is today the oldest surviving windmill in North Jutland.
Havnø Mølle is protected and was completely restored in the period 1995 - 2001 and currently operates as a working museum mill.
Guided tours in the office hours and if the wind allows, the mill will be working - In the tourist season, the mill grind flour on special working days.

Havnø Mølle is open to visitors during the period from the 3rd Sunday in June to 31 August - Every Wednesday from kl. 10:00 to 16:00.
